1)989 is one component, neutral curing, high strength, high bonding, is specially designed for all kinds of building curtain wall in the structural bonding assembly of silicone structural sealant. 
2)With most building materials without undercoating can obtain excellent bonding and sealing performance, with good extensibility, water tightness and other functions. 
3)After curing ,cold-resistant, heat-resistant and non-corrosive elastomer after curing, with excellent weather resistance, oxidation resistance, ultraviolet resistance, ozone layer resistance and high temperature resistance, and no pollution to the environment.

Applications 

All kinds of curtain wall structural adhesion assembly application(Glass curtain wall, stone, (marble, granite) curtain wall, aluminum curtain wall and metal structure project) Suitable for misconnection and butt between glass, lighting roof and secondary sealing of insulated Glass Unit.

Product instructions 

It is suggested to set the minimum width and thickness according to the load and wind pressure of curtain wall construction design. 
The surface of materials in contact with 989 during construction must be clean and dry. 
Compatibility test of bonding material is required before use 

Production Restrictions 

Should not be used on all surfaces that will seep grease, plasticizer or other organic solvents. 
Do not apply to enclosed Spaces or surfaces that come into direct contact with food or drinking water. 
The surface temperature of the substrate is below 4ºC or above 40ºC do not construction. 
In the process of use, should comply with the construction code.

 

Limitations:
1. Not suitable for structural applications.
2. Avoid use when the substrate temperature exceeds 50ºC. Steer clear of surfaces that are wet, oily, greasy, dusty, or dirty.
3. Not recommended for sub-grade applications, confined spaces, or surfaces requiring post finishes or painting.
4. Refrain from using or treating the sealant with materials, solvents, or cleaning agents that could affect or discolor the sealant, especially during the curing process.
